This is something I doing understand; they are advertising Google Places more then their own business…
If people can read the sign,
it means they are within 3 metres of the stores front door… get them to get their ass inside the store, and get them on a database.. why send them back to the web ?
It’s the same old crap again, when people once put ‘find us in the Yellow Pages’ stickers on their vehicles and businesses…
You wouldn’t send a direct mail piece out and include brochures of your competition … so why the heck would you direct people who are right outside your store to a place where they will see adverts for your competition???
Not smart marketing in my opinion at all.
