I remember when I first saw this commercial when it was ran on television; It evoked a lot of emotion within me. Jordan was such a great basketball player. His indomitable will is what has allowed him to overcome his failures.
There has never been a player before or since that could consistently ‘will’ his team to victory. His disdain for failure drives him to succeed and all of the comparisons that talking heads make of how Kobe or Lebron are the ‘next Jordan’ do a great disservice to the legacy that Michael Jordan left the NBA.
